Mascot contest is closed for judging!

Update 5/9/17 bit late in closing this but this contest is closed now. :3 Although stuff has come up at work and I don't know how late I will be working for a while, so I may not be able to choose the winner in one day. Please bear with me!





Hello everyone! :3 I hope everyone is doing alright so far this year.


So the secret santa is over and I would like to start off this year with a contest to create the group's mascot. I will be giving at least three months to for participants to come up with a character design.

Start and end dates:

This contest begins as soon as this is submitted and I get the folder set up. The deadline is April 6th 2017 at 7 pm Central time in the United States (can't quite remember the exact name of the time zone).


Rules:

1. You must be a member of this group to participate!

2. No tracing, using bases or linearts not your own, using games, or outright stealing.

3. Your design has to be a kemonomimi in a kimono or other traditional Asian influenced design. HAS TO BE BOTH. Not just a human in a kimono or just a kemonomimi in a western outfit. I've had people forget that's what the group is about when submitting. ^^ I also include oni and tengu in the kemonomimi spectrum.

4. Cannot have green and pink as the major colors of the design. We keep getting confused for and I think steering away from a similar colorscheme would help a little. Lovely group though and I would join if I did RP. Eventually we will be getting a new icon with our mascots's color scheme or colors that go well with it.

5.  The character design can be male or female. I would prefer the character not be a kid because we do allow mature content to be submitted.

6. When you submit your design please include a full body front and back view at the minimum.  You an add side views too if you need to. You can give them a name if you want or you can let me name them if the design wins. It would be awesome if you had a personality/background information included too.

7. You can submit more than one entry but can only win once

8. Your entry has to be submitted to the group folder marked Mascot Contest or it will not count.




Prizes! If you want to donate a prize, you can and still enter the contest.
